YogaTech Works: An Integrated Approach to Movement, Breath & Consciousness

In today's modern society asana practice has been reduced to a 'work-out', where people feel that they have to be 'doing' something in order to get any benefits from their practice.  Yoga to me is a work within, an 'inner-cise" not an exercise. What the asana poses and sequences of movement do is to help you connect the body and mind to the breath. When this happens something within us begins to change. Pranayama (breathing practice) and meditation are key components in helping to bring our bodies back into balance. Allowing the mind to stop the 'chatter' that is sometimes constant.

Creating present moment awareness helps us to reduce the stress and tension in our body and mind. I combine my years of teaching the Alexander Technique to all of my classes, which helps you to release unnecessary patterns of movement in your practice of asana, breath, and meditation. Taking this new awareness into your daily life!

These classes will leave you feeling balanced, refreshed and re-energized.
